TERN literary journal Launch Party

  • STL.org 3033 Locust Street St. Louis, MO, 63103 United States (map)

We’re celebrating the launch of TERN, a journal of translation and conversation.

Set in the Midwest, TERN strives to build connections with writers and artists from all over the world. The need for community is bigger than ever and we hope to add with this online journal to connections between writers, translators and artists that could lead not only to new collaborations, but new friendships.

Join us for a panel with the editors Rebecca Weingart and Stephanie Nebenfuehr in conversation with translators Becca Hanssens-Reed, Derick Mattern and editor, literary critic and publicist Miryam Schellbach. Be prepared to find out about the relevance of literary journals and to hear secrets about the relationship between authors and their translators.

The Event is open to the public with complimentary entry and refreshments.

Sponsored by the Center for the Humanities, the Center for Literary Arts and STL.org
